Charlestown, Clark County, Indiana
In the name of God Amen, I Charles Robinson of the State of Indiana and
County of Clark being in a weak State of body but of sound mind & memory
and calling to mind the mortality of human nature, do make constitute
and ordain this my last Will and Testament in manner and form as
followeth, to wit - It is my will and desire that my well Beloved wife
Nancy Robinson, shall enjoy the tract of Land on which I reside (after
clearing it out of the office with the money due me from my Debtors)
together will all the Stock, farming tools and furniture with the use of
all the buildings so long as she remains my widow.  But be it understood
that in case my well beloved wife should marry again, Then it is my will
and Desire that she should only Enjoy a child's part of my said Estate
and at her death it is my will and desire that the land should either be
sold or otherwise (equally) Equally divided between my five sons, to wit
- Elick Robinson, James Robinson, Rheuben Robinson, David Robinson &
William Robinson.  Further it is my will and desire that my beloved wife
have the priviledge (in case of all or any of the children leaving her)
to divide such part of the property to them as she may think expedient,
provided that such an account be kept of what each one receives as shall
make them at my wife decease equal shares, both my sons and my daughters
in what  property there is inclusive of the land to my five daughters
namely Franky Burns, Sally Robinson, Liza Robinson, Martilda Robinson,
Peggy Robinson, further it is my will and desire that if any of my
children should receive more than their equal proportion, that they or
either of them shall refund back such part of it as to render them equal
with my other children and further I do appoint my well beloved wife and
my son Elick Robinson & John T. Littell executors of this my last Will
and Testament revoking and disannulling all other by me heretofore
made.  In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my
seal this            day of October in the Year of Our Lord one

Clark County Cc  February 1st 1822
Be it remembered that on this day the foregoing last Will and Testament
of Charles Robinson decd was produced before me Isaac Shelby Clerk of
the Circuit Court of Clark County, and proven according to Law by the
Oath of James Elden and George Philips, two of the Subscribing witnesses
thereto the same is therefore admitted to record and upon the
application of Nancy Robinson widow, and relict of said Charles Robinson
decd one of the executors therein named the [Bur----] of the execution
of said will is granted to her by me.

Whereupon She the said Nancy Robinson, together with John T. Littell and
George Philips her securities entered into and acknowledged bond in the
penalty of one Thousand dollars conditioned according to Law, and She
the said Nancy Robinson having previously took the necessary Oath as
such executrix.  In Testimony whereof I have hereto set my hand as Clerk
aforesaid this 1st day of February in the Year 1822.
