In the name of the Benevolent Father of all
I, Jaret N. Keith of Decatur County Indiana do make and publish this my
last Will and Testament
Item 1st. I give and devise to my beloved wife Eliza all my personal
and real Estate that I may be the owner of at the Time of my decease
after the payment of all my just debts and Funeral Expenses, during her
natural life giving her full power to sell and convey any of said
personal or Real Estate whenever she may think necessary for her
support.
And at the death of my said wife and the payment of all her just debts
and funeral Expenses, the remainder of said property both personal and
Real to be sold and the money equally divided between my lawful heirs.
And I hereby appoint my sons John Keith and George M. Keith to carry out
this my last wish and request this 30th day of July 1879.

The following is the advancement
I have advanced to my heirs up to the 2nd day of February 1874 which is
to be charged to each in the final settlement of my Estate at my death,
To-Wit:

A. Henry Keith in Land $1200.00
Loucinda Stevens in Land $1200.00
George M. Keith in Land $1200.00

Be it remembered that on this 4th day of December [ ] 1882
personally appeared in the Circuit Court of said County Milton M.
McWhinney & Sandford Grayson who being duly sworn according to law on
their oath say that they are attesting witnesses to the instrument of
writing to which this is attached purporting to be the last will and
Testament of Jaret N. Keith deceased, that they saw the said Testator
sign the same and heard him declare it to be his last will and
Testament. That at the date of the execution thereof to-wit the 30th
day of July 1879 was of sound mind and memory and capable of disposing
of his property and not under coertion or restraint from any person
whatever. That said Witnesses signed said instrument of writing as
Witnesses at the request of said Testator in his presence and in the
presence of each other and further saith not.

E. L. Dyer Clerk of the Circuit Court of said County do hereby certify
that the within annexed last Will of Jaret N. Keith late of Decatur
County deceased has been duly admitted to probate that its due execution
was this day proven my Milton M. McWhinney and Sandford Grayson whose
proof together with such will has been duly recorded in book 8, pages
166 & 167 of the Records of Wills in our office.
In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the seal of
said Court at Greensburg this [-----] day of Dec A.D. 1882
