FORMER RESIDENT DIES

Rev. Frank B. Sinex

The funeral of the Rev. Frank B. Sinex, native of  this city, who
died at his home in Petersburg, Va., was held at Indianapolis this
week and burial was in Crown Hill Cemetery.  He was 55 years old.
After leaving this city he went to Indianapolis where he became a
merchant.  Later he studied for the ministry at DePauw University
and was ordained and went to Petersburg to take charge of
M.E., pastorate in the Southern district.   He was engaged in
Y.M.C.A. work during the world war and for several years
was financial agent for South-western University, a Methodist
ministerial school at Georgetown, Tex.  He is survived by his
widow, Mrs. Flora Sinex, and three sons, Archie F.,
Francis H. and Edward Sinex.

Mrs. Catherine Belle Sinex

Funeral services for Mrs. Catherine Belle Sinex, wife of
Charles Sinex,  formerly of New Albany, who died Sunday
at her home at Indianapolis, was held at 2:30 o'clock Wednesday
afternoon at the undertaking establishment of George A. Kraft, of
this city.   Burial was at Fairview Cemetery.  The body arrived
here Wednesday morning.   Mrs. Sinex was a daughter of Mrs.
Patrick C. Smith, former resident of  this city.
