Miss Emma Sinex, a well known woman, died Monday
afternoon at a sanitarium in Louisville. She had been in
poor health for several years, but she had been confined
to her bed only a few weeks. The body was taken to
the home of her sister, Mrs. William Crone, 1614 East
Elm Street, this city, where the funeral service will be
held.
Miss Sinex was 64 years old and was a native of New
Albany, where she lived all of her life. She was the
daughter of the late James S. Sinex. She is survived
by a brother, Charles H. Sinex and four sisters, Mrs.
Charles Wlater, Mrs. Ella Moore, Mrs. William Crone
and Miss Ida Sinex, all of whom live here.

Funeral services for Charles H. Sinex 77 years
old (who was) for thirty three years a construction
foreman of the Standard Sanitary Company in
Louisville, were held Monday at Mineaux's
Chapel, 1307 East Spring Street, with burial at
Fairview Cemetery. Mr. Sinex, who retired a
few years ago because of ill health died
Saturday night at his home, 1502 East Elm
Street.
Surviving are four sisters, Mrs. Ida Stephens,
Mrs. Ella Moore and Mrs. Lillian Crone, of
New Albany, and Mrs. Charles Walters,
Williams, Ill. He was a member of the
Patron Tribe of the Red Men and the Trinity
Methodist Church.
