AGED WOMAN PASSES AWAY

Mrs. Elizabeth Sinex, Widow of James A. Sinex,

Dies at her Home on North Pearl Street.

Mrs. Elizabeth Sinex, widow of James R. Sinex and one of the
oldest residents of the city, died at 10:30 o'clock this morning
at her home at 834 Pearl street where she had lived for
thirty-five years.  her death was due to complication of disease
after an illness of two weeks.

Mrs. Sinex was 91 years old and was a native of Tennessee,
but she came with her parents to this city when she was four
years old.  She was a daughter of the late Anthony King who
died in this city many years ago.  She was married June 20, 1850
and her husband died twenty six years ago.  Soon after their
marriage Mr. and Mrs. Sinex united with the Centenary
Methodist church in which they held their membership to
the time of their death.  She is survived by two daughters,
Mrs. William Deeble and Mrs. Walter Buchanon of this city,
and she also is survived by two grandchildren and three great
grandchildren.  Arrangements for the funeral have not been
completed.
