Mrs. Malissa Walker, wife of William S. Walker of Puyallup,
Wash.., and formerly of Washington County, Ind., died
December 5, 1913, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Thos.
Sinex.
She had reached the age of 74 years and 10 months, and was the
mother of five children. Mrs. Tucker Dudley and two infants
having passed away before. She is survived by her husband and
two daughters, Mrs. Thos. Sinex, of Tacoma, Washington,
thirteen grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and a host
of relatives and friends.

WILLIAM S. WALKER

Tacoma, Washington
William S. Walker was born in Washington County, Indiana,
July 25, 1839, and died January 6, 1914, at the home of his
daughter, Mrs. Noah Rush, of Puyallup, Washington, at the
age of 74 years, 10 months and 11 days.
The funeral was conducted by Rev. A. L. Crim, at the First
Christian Church. He also officiated at the funeral of his wife,
Mrs. William Walker, just one month to the day previous.
Mr. Walker was the father of five children, two of whom died
in infancy and one Mrs. Tucker Dudley, died at the age of 27.
Mr. Walker was a member of the Christian Church, also a member
of the Grand Army Corps, at Puyallup. He served his country in the
Civil War as a member of Company A 14th, Ind. Infantry.
He leaves two daughters, Mrs. Ella Sinex, of Tacoma Washington,
and Mrs. Emma Rush, of Puyallup, Washington, 13 grandchildren
two great grandchildren and three sisters in the east, one brother,
of Puyallup, Washington, and a host of friends and relatives to
mourn their loss.
