William J. Wilcox of Auburn has received word of the death of his
mother, Mrs. Rebecca Jane Dougherty Wilcox Monday at a rest
home in Colville, Wash., where she had been living for some time.
Formerly, she lived in Puyallup.  Born in Mason City, Ill., she was
83 years old.  She was a member of the Christian Church in
Puyallup, also the Ladies of the G.A.R. in Puyallup.  Her husband,
George Benjamin Wilcox died in 1925.  Mrs. Wilcox made her
home with her daughter Mrs. Mabel Miller in Chewelah, Wash.,
for a time.  Survivors are sons William J. of Auburn, George L. of
Port Orchard, Earl of Sacramento and daughters Mrs. Minnie Denny
of Tacoma, and Mrs. Miller of Chewelah; also 19 grandchildren and
23 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. William J. Wilcox, 59, of Auburn, died Tuesday in an Auburn
hospital.  She was born in Salem, Ind., and came to this state 45
years ago.  She lived at Puyallup for many years, moving to Auburn
seven years ago.  She was a member of the Church of God.  Besides
her husband, she is survived by five sons, Clarence L. of Oregon
City, Orris G. of Spokane, William R. and Charles M.. both of
Auburn, and Orville J. of Kent; two daughters, Mrs. Isal White of
Orting and Mrs. Leola Otto of Tacoma; two brothers Ford Sinex
of Auburn and Reuben Sinex of Arcadia, Calif., and two sisters,
Mrs. Fern Gregory of Auburn and Mrs. Joyce Hesse of Seattle.
Services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Price Funeral Chapel
in Auburn.  Burial will be in the Auburn Cemetery.

William James Wilcox, 77, of 825 3rd Ave NW, Puyallup, died at his
home Saturday.

He was born in Freemont, Iowa.  Mr. Wilcox came to Puyallup at the
age of six months.  He was a retired berry farmer.

He is survived by his wife, Anna; five sons, Clarence of Tacoma, Orris
of Spokane, William and Orville, bot of Auburn, and Charles of Oregon
City, Ore; two sisters, Mrs. Roy Call of Westley, Calif., and Mrs.
Kenneth Otto of Tacoma; two sisters, Mrs. Mabel Miller of Ephrata
and Mrs. Minnie Denny of California; two brothers, Earl of San Luis
Obispo, Calif., and George of Ellensburg; 20 grandchildren, and 12
great-grandchildren.

Hill Funeral Home will announce the services.
