WHITE.
Humphrey White died Sunday night
at 11:30 o'clock at the home of his
daughter, Mrs. John Holland, 1105
East North street, aged 90 years. Mr.
White was born in Ireland and came to
this city in 1845, where he has resided
ever since. He leaves seven children.
He was a member of St. Patrick's Cath-
olic church, where the funeral will be
held at 9 o'clock Tuesday morning.

HUMPHREY WHITE,
AGED 65, DIES
Had Lived in Decatur for
Fifty Years.
Humphrey White died at 7:30 o'clock
Friday evening at the family residence,
1249 East Marietta street. He was
sixty-five years old. His death was
caused by a complication of diseases.
He had a severe attack of the grip
last winter and never fully recovered
from that. He had been confined to
his bed for the past two weeks
50 YEARS IN COUNTY.
Mr. White was one of the best known
Democrats, in Macon county and had
a great many friends. He had lived
in Decatur for fifty years. He was
born in New York, but came to Decatur
when he was only fifteen years old, and
this has been his home ever since. He
and Miss Elizabeth Lawler were mar-
ried here forty-one years ago.
He is survived by his wife and seven
children, Mrs. Katherine Baker, wife
of L. S. Baker, J. H. White, Mrs. F. A.
Doolin, W. J. White and Mrs. B. D.
Davern, all of Decatur; A. J. White of
Stewardson and Mrs. P. C. Gosnell of
Villa Grove. He also leaves two sis-
ters and a brother, Mrs. John Holland,
of Pueblo, Colo., Mrs. Theresa Krebs of
Junction City, Kan., and John White of
Pueblo, Colo. There are nine grand-
children.

Humphrey White.
The funeral of Humphrey White will be held at 9 o'clock Monday morning at
St. Patrick's Catholic church. The services will be conducted by Rev. Father
J. Murphy. The interment will be in Calvary.
