Felix Jimenez, 69,
Of Riverbank Dies
Felix Jiminez, 69, a native of Mexico and resident of Third Street
in Riverbank, died of a heart attack yesterday while enroute by
automobile to an Oakdale doctor's office. Jiminez had been ill
since Friday.
Jiminez retired five years ago from the maintenance department
of the Santa Fe Railrod.
Besides his widow, Lupe Jiminez, he leaves two daughters,
Victoria and Margaret Jiminez, and eight sons, William, Prosperio,
Steve, Frank, Louie, Bertillo and Enfren Jiminez, all of Riverbank.
Rosary services will be held tonight in the family home. Funeral
services will be held tomorrow morning at 9:30 o'clock in St.
Mary's Catholic Church in Oakdale with Father William Tierney
officiating. Interment will be in the Citizens Cemetery in Oakdale.

(Riverbank) - Rosaries will be recited at 7 tonight and Wednesday
night, followed by Requiem Mass at 2 p.m. Thursday in St. Francis
of Rome Catholic Church for Guadalupe "Lupe" Jimenez, 90, who
died in her Riverbank home Sunday after a long illness.
Burial will be in Lakewood Memorial park.
Born in Mexico, she had lived in Riverbank for 62 years. She was
a member of St. Francis of Rome Catholic Church.
She is survived by eight sons, Bill, Efren & Louis Jimenez of Modesto,
Prosper, Steve and Felix Jimenez of Riverbank, Frank Jimenez of Ceres
and Tilo Jimenez of Washington; two daughters, Vickie Van Buren of
Stockton and Margaret Papia of Tracy; 29 grandchildren and 27 great-
grandchildren.

William Jimenez - A rosary will be said at 8 p.m. Monday at Franklin
& Downs McHenry Chapel for William D'Asedro Jiminez, 68, who
died Friday in Modesto. Mass will be recited at 9 a.m. Tuesday at
St. Joseph Church in Modesto.
Mr. Jimenez was born in Arizona but had lived in the Modesto and
Riverbank areas since he was an infant. He was a U.S. Army veteran
of World War II and worked as a mechanic at Contadina Foods. He
was a member of St. Joseph's Church and Teamsters Union Local
748.
He is survived by his wife, Esperanza Jimenez of Modesto; one
daughter Monica Johnson of Oregon; seven brothers, Prospero, Steve
and Felix, all of Riverbank, Tilo of Washington, Louis, Efren and Frank
of Modesto; two sisters, Victoria Van Buren of Stockton and Margaret
Tapia of Tracy; and one grandchild.

Prosperio D. Jimenez, 75, of Riverbank died Sunday at Oak Valley Care
Center, Oakdale.
Mr. Jimenez was a native of Arizona. He had lived in Riverbank since
infancy. He was a laborer and employed at Contadina 48 years; he was
a member of Teamsters union Local 748, Modesto. He was a member
of St. Frances of Rome Catholic Church, Riverbank. He served in the
Army during World War II.
He is survived by his wife, Maria Jimenez of Riverbank; children,
Yolanda Huntley of Riverbank and Gilbert Jimenez of Modesto;
brothers, Steven Jimenez of Riverbank, Felix Jimenez Jr., Frank
Jimenez, Efren Jimenez and Louis Jimenez, all of Modesto, and
Rotalo Jimenez of Washington; sisters Victoria Van Buren of
Stockton and Margaret Tapia of Tracy; and two grandchildren.
The rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. today at Riverbank Memorial
Chapel, Riverbank. A Mass will be said at 9 a.m. Thursday at St.
Frances of Rome Catholic Church, Riverbank. Burial will follow at
St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Modesto. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to
8 p.m. today at the chapel.

Rutilo (Jim) Jimenez was born June 4, 1932 in Riverbank, CA,
and passed away Oct. 21, 1995 in Tacoma. He attended school in
Riverbank, CA, afterwards entering the U.S. Air Force in 1951. In
the early 1950s he moved to Tacoma and started working for Boeing
Aircraft in the final assembly area. He retired from Boeing after 35
years of service. Currently Rutilo was attending school taking computer
classes. He was a member of Boeing 751 Club and attended Holy
Rosary Catholic Church.
Survivors include sons, Robert (Rick) and Mitchell, Tacoma; Steven,
Louisiana, daughters, Lisa, Stephanie Martel and Sabrina, all of Tacoma;
sisters, Victoria Van Buren, Stockton, CA, Margaret Tapia, Tracy, CA;
brothers, Steven, Riverbank, CA, Frank, Louis, Felix and Efren, all of
Modesto, CA; 13 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, 23 nieces and
nephews and other relatives and friends. His parents, Guadalupe and
Felix Jimenez and brothers William and Prospero Jimenez preceded
him in death.
Funeral Mass will be 12 Noon Wed., Oct. 25 at Holy Rosary Catholic
Church, 512 S. 30th St. Interment in Calvary Cemetery. Arrangements
by Mountain View Funeral Home. 584-0252.

Felix D. Jiminez, 70, of Modesto died Tuesday at his home.
Mr. Jiminez was a native of Riverbank. He lived in the Modesto area
most of his life. He was a supervisor for Contadina Foods. He was a
member of St. Frances of Rome Catholic Church, Riverbank. He was
an Army veteran of the Korean War.
He is survived by his wife, Irene Jiminez of Modesto; son David Jiminez
of Modesto; brothers, Steve Jiminez of Riverbank, and Frank Jiminez,
Louis Jiminez and Efren Jiminez, all of Modesto; sisters, Victoria Van
Buren of Stockton and Margaret Jiminez of Tracy; and four grand-
children.
A Mass will be said at 9 a.m. Friday at St. Frances of Rome Catholic
Church, Riverbank. Services will conclude at the church. Visitation
will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. today at the Colonial Chapter of Franklin
& Downs.

William Jiminez, 14, ill with leukemia since November, died yesterday
in the University of California Hospital in San Francisco.
The boy was the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Jiminez of Riverbank. He
leaves a sister Monica. He was born in California.
Services are pending at the Franklin & Downs Funeral Home.
