Will of Bruer Sinexen


In the Name of God Amen The Twenty-fifth Day of November in the year of One Thousand Seven hundred & Eight according to English Account I Bruer Sinexen of the County of New Castle [ ] being of perfect memory & Remembrance praised be God do make and ordain this my last will and testament In manner and form as following:

Imprimis I request my ~ ~ viz ~ ~ Soul Into the hands of Almighty God my Maker Hoping that through the meritorious Death and passion of Jesus Christ my only Saviour and Redeemer to Release from Pardon and forgiveness of all my Sines and as for my Body to Be Buried in Christian Burial at the Discretion of my Executrix & Executor hereafter nominated. ~ ~ ~ ~

Item I give unto Sophia my wife my Plantation and all my Estate Real and Tangible during her Life and after her Death ~ ~ ~ I give all my Lands to my son James Sinexen and after his deth to his Eldest sun Bruer. Also be it Remembered that Darcus the wife of my sun James shall not have any part or share of my Estate any more than to live it out for my said grandson Sinexen Item I give unto the Church one pound Item I give unto [Erricus Prureo] one young mare for the funeral sermon . I desire by him to be made. Item I give unto Erricus Anderson (after the death of my wife) half of the stock of sheep & one young mare and all the rest to my said son James after his mother's decease. I leave my wife and my sun James sole Executors of this my Last Will and Testament Revoking all others wills and testaments. Seale the day and year first above written last.
